　　Some people believe that our personalities change as we grow older. Others think that our personalities stay the same from childhood. Which view do you agree with and why? Give specific details to explain your answer.

　　I believe that our personality can change as we grow older, since the events and people we encounter tend to alter the way we think and behave.

　　For example, I used to be an introvert, who was not good at public speaking. When I stood in front of a large crowd, I would stammer and my mind would go blank. But as I step into the workforce, I need to deliver presentations in front of my clients. While preparing for that, I tried to practice as many times as possible in front of a mirror as well as rehearse my presentations to friends and family members. As a result, I learned how to make eye contact with others while talking and how to use my body language. I definitely become more extroverted as I grow older.

　　定义： 当人们频繁接触到 the same information, 就更有可能接受这个信息是真的。

　　大学生看 a list of statements; 他们被告知一些statement来自教科书，一些是编的。而大多这些statement都是人们不常见的，所以他们不能判断真假。

　　下一周，同样的学生回来参加实验，这次给他们看的statement里面有一些是上周的，一些是新加的。比如上周一个说法是 gold is the heaviest metal。然后研究人员发现学生会读的很快，然后把这些看过的statement标注成accurate的，第一次见到的statement会更容易被标记成false的。
