　　I'd like to share about a power outage that happened last summer during a particularly hot evening. I was at home with my family, and we were all using air conditioning when suddenly everything went dark around 8 PM.

　　The blackout lasted for about four hours, which felt like an eternity in that sweltering heat. At first, we just sat there waiting, thinking it would come back quickly, but after an hour we realized we needed to do something.

　　We ended up having quite an adventure actually. My mom found some candles, and we moved to the balcony where it was slightly cooler. We played card games by candlelight, something we hadn't done in years. My dad told us stories about his childhood when power outages were more common. We also opened all the windows and used battery-powered fans. Later, we even went downstairs to chat with neighbors who were also sitting outside trying to cool off.

　　Initially, I felt frustrated and annoyed, especially because I couldn't use my phone once the battery died and I was worried about missing important messages. But as the evening progressed, I actually started enjoying it. There was something peaceful about being disconnected from technology and just talking face-to-face with family. It reminded me how much we rely on electricity for everything, and honestly, it was refreshing to have that forced break from screens and social media.
