　　Good public speakers are made, not born. Very few speakers can give a

　　stirring speech without preparation and practice. With studying public speaking

　　techniques, you may not become a famous speaker. However, you will be able to

　　get your messages across clearly and completely. Essentially, there are four

　　guidelines to follow in order to deliver a speech effectively.

　　speaking as through conversation, you must be well-prepared. Preparation gives

　　you the confidence that lets you be yourself.

　　speaker who has an energetic, lively, active, or assertive style is said to

　　possess dynamism, which is one element establishes a speaker’s credibility.

　　Lively delivery can help build the audience’s perception of the speaker’s

　　credibility.

　　audience. For example, a speaker presenting a tribute to someone who died would

　　be expected to create a solemn, respectful mood through vocal techniques,

　　posture, and facial expressions, as well as through the words selected.
