The maps illustrate the transformation of Beechwood Farm from a traditional agricultural operation in 1950 to its current multifunctional state.

Originally, the farm consisted of three parallel cultivation zones along the river - fruit trees, soft fruits, and vegetables - connected by a central track that ran through the farm, with a triangular roundabout in the middle.
