My grandmother and her family, being one of those lucky families who could escapebefore time was no longer on their side. With hardships entering the U.S. and a small amountof money with her, my grandmother made the best of what she had, and became a successfullawyer in the United States. She raised her three children to become successful peoplethemselves, not only in their careers, but also in their happiness as well. The sacrifice shemade improved the lives of her children, grandchildren, and many generations yet to come.
