Yes, I think it's very important, especially for younger students.
If a class is dry and boring, students will easily zone out or even fall asleep. Using games, videos, or jokes can really help grab their attention and make the knowledge stick.
However, there needs to be a balance. The class shouldn't just be a comedy show; the teacher still needs to deliver solid content. But overall, a fun atmosphere makes learning much more effective.
