    1. [I 不及物动词] 恳求

    If you beg someone to do something, you ask them very anxiously or eagerly to do it.

    例：

    I begged him to come back to New York with me.

    2. [T 及物动词] 行乞

    If someone who is poor is begging, they are asking people to give them food or money.
