1. Do you remember your teachers from primary school?

Yes, I remember most of them quite well. I remember the ones I really liked, and I also remember the ones I really disliked! The motivating, humorous and inspiring teachers, as well as the strict, serious and critical teachers!

2. Do you have a favorite teacher?

Yes, it was my mathematics teacher. She was really good at making the subject interesting and she always gave real-life examples, and not just boring repetition drills, so I found I remembered what we learned in class much easier.

3. Did you want to be a teacher when you were younger?

I didn't really, no. I didn't really think about it, actually. I always had aspirations to go into business or the medical field. I was not really interested in teaching, and neither did I like the idea of dealing with classrooms full of children.

4. What kinds of teacher do you prefer?

I prefer teachers that seem to be very sincere and 'human' – you know, the kinds of teachers that make a subject really seem inspiring and worth learning about. A good teacher, who has a sense of humour and the ability to inspire interest, can change your whole attitude to school!
