1 Are there any wild animals in your country?

Yes, my country is quite big, and there are icy regions, tropical regions and desert regions, so we have a wide variety of wild animals of all sorts of different kinds. I believe we also have animals like tigers, in certain regions, but they're an endangered species.

2 Have you ever been to a zoo or a safari park?

I have yes. I've been to the kind of zoo where you see a lot of animals in different cages and zones, and I've also been to a drive-through safari where you go through a large area in your car and the animals come right up to your windows sometimes – rhinos, giraffes and so forth.

3 What is the animal you would like to see in the wild?

If I could go on a really wild safari or adventure holiday I'd go to Africa, to the Serengeti plains and I'd like to see giraffes. I love giraffes, I think they're so special and unique. I'd love to have the chance to study them up close and learn more about them in their natural habitat.

4 Are there TV programs about wild animals in your country?

Yes, there are plenty of wildlife documentaries aimed at both adults and children. They are fairly popular. People like to learn about animals and their habits and lifestyles.
