　　The successful small company I know that I want to talk about is my family’s business. My parents started a small shoes selling business when I was in middle school. At first, we own a large shop in the commercial business center in our hometown, and we sell women’s and men’s shoes in a few different brands(品牌). The shoes are of good quality and are well priced. In the beginning, there wasn’t enough customers since the shop is new and the designs of the shoes are limited to suitable for only young men and women. After detailed analysis about the current market(当今市场), several different marketing approaches(市场策略) were adopted. Especially we expanded the promotion sales scale(促销规模). Since then the shop was full of customers in busy business hours, sometimes there were still customers even after the closing time. After 1 year, my parents opened another two branch stores in the neighboring business centers(附近的商业中心), hired more staff to work for them. I felt very proud of my parents because they are successful self-made business people. They gained everything through their diligence and hard work. Thanks their efforts, they could financially support me to study overseas.
