Several months ago, as I recall (插入语:我记得), I was eating in a fast food restaurant. I waslooking around out of no purpose and all of a sudden(突然), I spotted a mobile phone lying on thechair across my table. It was an iPhone. It seemed to me that it belonged to a girl because themobile case was lovely covered with a Hello Kitty logo on it. In the beginning, I tried to access thedata on the phone in order to find the owner; however, it was not accessible (无法进入) without thepassword. I then put it aside on the table and continued eating, thinking that the owner mightcome back for it. I planned to give it to the restaurant staff if the owner did not come back when Ifinished eating. Luckily, when I finished my meal and was about to leave, the owner walked into thedoor with worried look(神情焦虑) and went quickly to the table I sat at. “There it is!” she said withgreat joy(开心地), “I can’t imagine what would happen if I had lost it(虚拟语气:如果我真的丢了它),it would have been very troublesome.” She then thanked me for helping guard it and explained thatshe was always careless and forgot to take it when she left. We had a little chat about howdifficult it would be to live without a phone nowadays. I was glad she had her phone back as Imyself had lost my phone once and it was so inconvenient that I did not even want to bring up thatmemory.(结果状语从句:掉手机太麻烦,我一点也不想去回忆那段经历).
