　　My favorite piece of clothing is a traditional Chinese dress called a Chi-pao. Chi-pao was a verybig part of(是…的很大一部分) Chinese women's fashion which became prevalent after the 1920s. AChi-pao kinda looks like a skintight dress(紧身裙)! but always comes with half sleeves and buttonsup to the neck. Owing to its special design to closely fit a female body(贴合女性身体), a Chi-paocan always perfectly show the curves of a woman. My Chi-pao is green with bright peoniespatterns on it. I rarely wear it because it is not super comfortable for everyday activities. But onspecial occasions like gatherings with international friends or some school events, I often wear theChi-pao. For example, the last time I wore it was to a dinner party of international students whereeveryone was encouraged to wear their traditional national costume, a lot of friends said it lookedamazing and the dress itself was very artistic. My Chi-pao was tailored especially for me(为我量身定做) by a tailor that my mom introduced me to. I got it when I was 19 and I think every Chinesegirl should own a Chi-pao, not just as a beautiful dress but something that can represent Chineseculture and art. To me, my Chi-pao is not only a simple piece of cloth, but a representation of myChinese identity. Every time I wear it at parties and events abroad I feel very proud of it!
