　　Well for young generation, I think drama series with the theme of romance and comedy top the list, especially those TV series acted by popular stars. Also, talent shows own an ever-increasing audience ratings in recent years. These shows give the chance of debut to selected boys and girls by the way of nationwide pick-up, which heightens the audience’s engagement to a great extent. While for old people, they concentrate more on talk shows in the field of finance and education, which are closer to life.

　　2. Why do people like to watch TV shows?

　　Well, the answer differs. Some just use TV shows as a time killer, but mostly it is because mental relaxation. People regard watching TV shows as a way of relieving stress and anxiety since it releases them from fast-pace life and daily work for a while.
