　　some people believe that students who want to go to university after graduation from high school should have about one year’s time to get a job to obtain work experience or have a travel to enlarge their vision. do you agree or disagree? what’s your opinion?

　　At present, the experience of work seems to be increasingly valuable among

　　newly graduated men and women. So there is a saying that you’d better

　　get a one-year job or even travel around before coming into university. How

　　ever, I would rather disagree with that point of view.

　　First, it is very difficult for people who have already worked to pass the

　　university entrance examination, because they have been used to working

　　and can hardly concentrate on subjects such as math and history. Once a

　　graduate begins work, they come into contact with many different,interesting

　　people and are free to participate in more cultural activities, which makes

　　them fond of living in a complicated society. At last, they won’t be willing

　　to study any more.

　　In addition, because one usually cannot get a high position at a company an

　　d always does some simple practical jobs at the very beginning. Gaining this

　　experience is quite invaluable. Many Chinese workers without a degree high

　　enough go abroad to earn money, but few of them can get a high position

　　or high salary. What if you are a high school student?

　　Furthermore, traveling around is an even worse choice. I believe traveling

　　will be expensive, and most students cannot afford such a luxury without

　　help from their parents. This in turn, places an unnecessary financial burden

　　on parents. Moreover, what can you learn from traveling is quite uncertain.

　　And it is very dangerous indeed.

　　As you can tell from my commentary above, I don’t believe students should

　　waste their precious time in this useless endeavor. What they should do is

　　try to learn all they can on campus so students are well prepared to be prod

　　uctive citizens after graduation.
