My uncle likes collecting coins. He has a collections of coins in his room. Some are coins of different countries, some are ancient coins. Last week he was very happy to buy a rare coin worth 800 yuan. Actually speaking, it’s really expensive for me. But the price was reasonable for my uncle. A friend of mine is also fond of collecting. But she likes collecting postcards. She has almost 300 postcards. In my eyes, they are not worth much. However, those postcards are extremely valuable for her. Nothing makes her happier than to collect some beautiful postcards.
It’s hard to define what a hobby means. I think it’s about something we like to do in our free time. What’s most important is not the value in it but the pleasure it brings to us.
