不定代词each /every

　　each 强调个体，“各个”，指两者或两者以上中的每一个，可以做主语，宾语，定语和同位语，可以和of 连用，each of us =we each,each student =every student ,作主语时，谓语使用单数，each not 连用是全否定，Each man here is not lazy .这儿的每个人都不懒惰。every not

　　连用是部分否定，Every man here is not lazy .并不是每个人都懒惰。

　　every 强调整体，不能单独使用，指三者或三者以上中的“每一个”，只作定语，

　　every +基数词+名词复数=every+序数词+名词单数，译为“每……”，“每隔……”，every three days =every third day 每三天

　　every other day =every two days =every second day 每隔一天/每两天

　　the other day 前几天

　　在路的两边 on each side of the road /on either side of the road /on both sides of the road
