　　Clifford‘s first day at school

　　Clifford上学的第一天

　　Hi， I’m Emily. This is my dog， Clifford. Here‘s a story about his first day at my school. All the kids want to play with him. Miss Pearson likes him too. But she says it’s time to begin our day.

　　嗨，我是艾米丽。这是我的小狗，Clifford。这是一则关于它第一天在我学校的故事。所有的孩子们都想和它一起玩呢。Pearson老师也喜欢它。但Pearson老师说了，我们该开始上课啦。

　　She takes out the finger paint. Clifford gets up on the table and plays with the yellow paint. Oh my. The bottle tips over！ Clifford falls down on the paper. But Miss Pearson says he makes a beautiful picture.

　　Pearson老师拿出水彩颜料。Clifford爬上桌子就开始玩弄那支黄色的颜料。天呐，Clifford打翻了颜料瓶。它自己还摔倒在图画纸上呢。但是Pearson老师说它画了一幅漂亮的图画呢。

　　But how do I make him clean？ Miss Pearson wants to use water. Tim makes a boat. Clifford is very happy to see the boat. He climbs the mast... Then he falls down！ He‘s clean now.

　　但我该怎么把这小家伙弄干净呢？Pearson老师想用水把它洗干净。Tim折了条小船。Clifford看到小船可高兴呢。它爬上桅杆…然后它掉下来了！现在它干净啦。

　　Miss Pearson dries him. She says we’ll make cookies next and Clifford can watch. This will make him quiet. Clifford is curious about the bag of flour. Oops！ Clifford makes another mess.

　　Pearson老师弄干了它身上的毛。她说接下来我们要做曲奇，Clifford可以在旁边看着。这会使它安静下来。Clifford对面粉袋很感兴趣。糟糕，Clifford又闯祸了。

　　Miss Pearson says it‘s time for Clifford to go home. She tells me to bring him back to school when he’s a little bigger.

　　Now， every day I ride to school on my big dog. She can see how big he is now.
