  Target Language: Let’s count from … to ….

  Language Functions: How to use the sentence patterns, “Let’s count from … to ….” .

  Task Activities: Learn to read and write the words.

  Learn to read and say the new dialogue.

  C.Intelligence Development:

  Develop the ability to study on their own.

  Develop the ability to observe things carefully.

  Develop the ability for fast response to what they hear and see.

  D. Moral Education: Enjoy English.

  【教学过程】

  I. Teaching Procedures:

  Step One: Greetings

  Step Two: Warm-up

  1. Listen to the tape recorder and try to sing after it.

  The number song.

  2. Free talk.

  Step Three: Presentation

  1. Questions and Answers.

  a. T: What’s one and two?

  Ss: It’s ….

  b. T: What’s … and …?

  Ss: It’s ….

  c. T: What’s … and …?

  Ss: It’s ….

  ……

  2. Learn the new words for 3 skills, “seventeen and eighteen”.

  1. Learn the new words for 4 skills, “seven and eight”.

  (Use the word cards.)

  (Write them on the blackboard.)

  2. Learn the sentence patterns, “ Let’s count from ….”

  3. Learn the dialogue.

  Step Four: Practice

  1. Ask the students to listen to the tape recorder, and repeat after it.

  2. Let the students practice the dialogue in groups.

  3. Get the students to act out the dialogue in role.

  4. Let’s chant.

  5. Make new word cards in groups.

  Step Five: Assessment

  Make the assessment individually, in groups and in chorus.

  Must do: Copy and recite the new vocabulary.

  Read the dialogue and recite it.
