Step 1 Lead-in and review.
Getting ready
*Teacher bring in some photos of family. Introduce family to the Ss.
*T: Who’s he? He’s my father. Who’s she? She’s my mother.
*Ask Ss to bring in photos of their families for future lessons.

Using the book
Ⅰ。 Review the song.
T: Boys and girls, are you ready to pass my first barrier?
Ss: Yes! Let’s go!
Sing a song:She’s my mom!
Ⅱ。Review the words.
T: Next, I want to know the words. Tell me together, who’s he?
Ss: He’s my father…

Activity 2:Passing the second barrier: Learn Conversation.
1.T:Congratulations! You pass the first barrier! Do you want to pass the second barrier? First, let’s listen to the tape, pausing after each sentence to have Ss repeat
【评:通过闯第二关引出Conversation的学习,通过听和看先让学生从听觉和视觉上感知Conversation。】
2. T: Here are some questions for you : How are you? Who’s she? Who’s he? How about Gogo?
Let’s listen and look again then answer.
【评:课件出示三个问题, 让学生带着问题再听故事。教师有针对性的提问,为学生下面的听作铺垫,并很好地引导学生有目的性地听和找答案。这样很好地集中了学生的注意力。】
3. T: Let’s read after the CAI sentence by sentence.
