Step 1: Warming up:
T: Hello! Boys and girls! How are you?Ilike chants ,do you like chants? Yes ! Good !Now let`s chant together.OK?Please stand up.
Ss:An elephant can walk, walk, walk, walk.(do the actions follow the teacher)
T:Yes ,your sounds very beautiful! En, look ,what`s this?Yes ,group 1 will be an elephant.… Group 2 will be a frog .Group 3 will be a fish ,and group will be an egg.Today ,we will have a competation,Iwant to know ,who`s the fastest.Are you ready?
【设计意图】通过利用歌谣来活跃课堂气氛,复习旧识,为新课做好铺垫。消除学生紧张心理,使师生关系融洽。把学生分成以动物命名的四个小组,并用小动物赛跑的小组激励,这种激励方式既让学生产生强烈的竞争意识,又很好地对本课的单词进行了呈现。
Step 2: Lead-in
T: Wow ! The animals are very lovely! Ilike animals ,do you like animals?OK! Today I’ll take you to the zoo. Are you ready to go?(Show a video about “The Zoo”)Is it beautiful? It`s a zoo. Read after me!And ,can you tell me what can you see in the zoo?(Let the students find more animals in the zoo . Have a match in group.)
【设计意图】根据学生喜爱动物特点,创设情景,通过设置一个动物园导入新课,充分调动学生学习的积极性。在激发了学生的探究热情的同时,引发探究学习的兴趣。在课堂的开始就给学生“找动物”的任务,学生兴趣高昂,也让评价变得更有意义。让学生在情景中复习旧知识,避免了枯燥和机械的复习方法,提起学生强烈的兴趣。
