例证题的识别主要有三种：①The storyexamplecase of is used to howdemonstrateillustrate…②(事例)is used to showillustratedemonstrate…③the author use the storyexamplecase of…to show illustratedemonstrate…也就是说，但凡见到这三种问法，那么这道题毫无疑问就是我们所说的例证题了。那么识别出一道例证题之后，它在解题上有什么技巧存在呢？当然有的，例证题的答案都出自例子之前。比如2003年第四篇阅读中的一道题：
Death is normal we are genetically programmed to disintegrate and perish, even under ideal conditions. We all understand that at some level, yet as medical consumers we treat death as a problem to be solved. Shielded by third-party payers from the cost of our care, we demand everything that can possibly be done for us, even if it’s useless. The most obvious example is late-stage cancer care.
