According to Jinghua Times News, an alarm notification went viral on the Internet that a teacher from Tsinghua University was swindled out of 17.6 million yuan by the telecommunication. The police of Haidian District claimed at 10:30 on Tuesday night that they had involved in the investigation and would try to catch the swindlers.
据《京华时报》报道, 昨天，网传一则“警情通报”称，清华大学一老师被电信诈骗人民币1760万元。海淀警方昨晚10点半通报称，已经介入调查，正在全力开展工作。
The picture which marked the logo of ’Tsinghua University LCD Tower Property Services Center’ was posted on the Internet and instantly spread over the Internet, reporting that “ At 23:35 on Aug. 29, Zhongguancun Police Station received a report that a Tsinghua teacher, who lives at Lanqiying Block was swindled out of 17.6 million yuan by Telecommunication swindlers posing at the public security staff. ’
昨天，一张标注有“清华大学液晶大厦物业服务中心”的图片在网络广为流传。该图片内容为：“8月29日晚上23：25分，中关村派出所接到报案：海淀区蓝旗营小区清华大学一老师，被冒充公检法电信诈骗人民币1760万元。”
The picture also suggested that all the units should strengthen the publicity as well as education, and try to reduce and avoid such cases. Call the police as soon as possible once such kind of case takes place.”
图片内容还提示，“望各单位加强宣传力度，向员工普及预防诈骗的相关知识，减少和避免此类案件发生。一旦发现此类情况，请第一时间报警”。
Reporters learned that the news is true yesterday afternoon. The Haidian District Public Security Bureau released on Tuesday night that they have involved in the investigation.
