个人简介

　　1984年7月毕业于长春地质学院地质系地质学专业；1987年7月毕业于中国地质科学院研究生部，获得硕士学位；1989年9月在法国居里大学地质系获DEA文凭，同年10月考入法国巴黎第七大学地球物理系深部地球物理专业，1992年10月获得博士学位。2003年受聘南京大学长江学者特聘教授.
　　1992年至1995年在法国巴黎地球物理研究所从事博士后研究工作。1995年初回国, 同年12月任中国地质科学院研究员。1996年首批入选人事部、教育部等七部委“百千万人才工程”第一、二层次。1997年享受国务院政府特殊津贴, 浙江大学兼职教授
　　1999年度获国家杰出青年基金。
　　2000年任全国地层委员会磁性地层分委员会主席。
　　2000年当选联合国教育科学文化组织国际地球科学计划 (原国际地质对比计划) (UNESCO/IUGS/IGCP) 执委会委员 (2000-2004年)；
　　中国地质学会古地磁专业委员会常务副主任兼秘书长
　　2001年任地质学报英文版 (SCI收录杂志) 《Acta Geologica Sinica》副主编
