博士，中国科学技术大学计算机系教授，博士生导师。1969年生。1996年获中国科学技术大学智能信息处理专业博士学位。研究方向包括行人检测系统、计算智能、信息安全等。现为中国科学技术大学计算机科学技术系主任助理，人工智能研究中心副主任，安徽省计算与通讯软件重点实验室常务副主任，中国通信学会青年工作委员会委员。至今已主持了10多项国家自然科学基金、863、973子课题等科研项目及多个省部级科研项目，并作为技术负责人或骨干参与了多项国家自然科学基金、863、973等课题的研究；在国内外主要学术刊物和学术会议上已发表论文90余篇。2000年获安徽省科技进步二等奖，2004年获安徽省科技进步三等奖、2005年获安徽省优秀学术论文二等奖。

　　2005年入选首届“安徽省优秀中青年学术带头人计划”，2007年入选“教育部新世纪优秀人才计划”。
