  左如忠,男,1971年5月生,籍贯江苏淮阴,工学博士,教授,博士生导师。
  2001年6月清华大学新型陶瓷与精细工艺国家重点实验室获得博士学位。2001年9月至2006年12月于德国达姆斯塔特工业大学从事博士后研究及担任项目研究助理,期间,先后到美国、英国和斯洛文尼亚等国做短期学术访问;美国陶瓷学报期刊评审人。2006年9月由合肥工业大学引进。
  在博士期间,曾作为主要成员参与完成一项国家自然科学基金重大项目“新型功能陶瓷材料制备科学及其关键性问题研究”,以及被评为清华大学“学术新秀”和“十优研究生”。在德国工作期间,先后完成两项德国国家自然科学基金项目“陶瓷薄膜的烧结研究”和“驱动器用高性能压电陶瓷的制备和织构化工艺研究”。目前承担合肥工业大学“人才引进-教授预研”项目和“人才引进和选拔培养”专项。在国际著名刊物上发表学术论文近50篇,其中37篇为SCI收录。申报两项国家发明专利。
