李茂青，男，1953年出生，教授、博士生导师，全国计算机远程教育与继续教育研究会副理事长、福建省系统工程学会理事长、中国空间技术研究院兼职研究员。现任厦门大学信息科学与技术学院副院长，分管研究生工作。曾任2002年国际控制与自动化学术会议程序委员会主席；第十届制造与管理学术会议组委会主席；2005年国际环境与信息学术会议组委会主席；2006年首届国际计算机新科技与教育学术会议组委会主席。
