  边秀房 教授
  生于1953年,汉族,山东省沾化县人。1976年毕业于山东工学院。1983年获硕士学位。2001年获博士学位。现任山东大学教授;博士生导师;教育部重点实验室主任。创建了液态金属及遗传工程实验室,并任该室主任。该室于2000年8月17日列为教育部重点实验室,并改名为材料液态结构及其遗传性实验室。1993年至1994年赴澳大利亚墨尔本大学机械制造工程系,作为客座教授进行合作科研工作。1992年由讲师破格晋升为教授。1993年由国务院学位委员会批准为博士生导师。同年获得山东省新长征突击手,山东省专业技术拔尖人才,山东省十大杰出青年等荣誉称号,并享受国务院政府特殊津贴。1995年被评为山东省高校十大优秀教师,全国优秀教师。1997年被评为有突出贡献的中青年专家。国家百千万人材工程第一二层次人选。  边秀房 教授

获得奖项
  铝合金热速处理理论及凝固控制项目,获山东省科学技术(理论成果)进步二等奖。在金属的遗传性研究方面完成专著《铸造金属遗传学》一部,利用金属的遗传性开发的AlTiB中间合金大量出口国内外, 该项目获山东省科技成果一等奖. 利用金属的遗传性开发的铁相球化剂深受铝合金生产厂家的欢迎,并获国家发明四等奖。
