"Ge Tian and I fell in love in May 2014 and tied the knot in September the same year. But our personalities are so incompatible that we ended our marriage today. Hope we both have a more exciting life later on and best wishes." Liu writes on his Weibo.
刘翔在微博中写道，“我与葛天2014年5月恋爱，同年9月结婚，于今天结束这段婚姻，希望今后各自都有更美好的人生，祝愿彼此。”
Rumors about the couple getting divorced had been in the air in Chinese media recently.
