“众筹”入选《牛津英语词典》新词列表
《牛津英语词典》又收录新词啦～此次被收入的新词约500个，Sexting、Photobombing、Vaping、Crowdfunding等颇具新时代特色的单词，你知道它们的含义么?
Around 500 new words and phrases have been added to the Oxford English Dictionary, including several that provide an insight into 21st century hobbies, such as “sexting”, “photobombing” , “vaping” and “crowdfunding” .
Other gems included in the latest version of the dictionary are “Enviropig” - the trademark for a genetically modified line of Yorkshire pigs with enhanced digestive capabilities - and “pharmacovigilance,” which denotes the practice of monitoring the effects of drugs after they have been licensed for use.
马上学：Sexting即性短信，由Sex和Texting两个词组合而成，指用手机发送色情信息。
Photobombing指the act of spoiling (a photograph) by unexpectedly appearing in the camera's field of view as the picture is taken, typically as a prank or practical joke，即“意外出现在他人的照片中并成功抢镜的行为”。
Vape的意思是“电子烟;吸电子烟”，于去年8月份被牛津在线词典收录。它最初只是作为vapour 或者vaporize的缩写，有蒸汽或汽化的意思。
Crowdfunding即“众筹”。
Freegan是个复合词，由free(免费、自由)和vegan(素食主义者)合成。Freegans 指一群不购物(包括食物)、不开车、不买房，甚至不上班，尽可能不消耗资源，靠着极为有限的资源生活的人。
