3、考查学生对于篇章的总体理解，考生要学会把握文章主旨。例如在2014英语一的考题中，有两道题直接考查了文章的主题内容。分别是第二篇文章的第30题 30.In the text,the author mainly discusses.和第四篇文章的第40题40.Which of the following would be the best title for the text?
其实在历年的考研真题中，主旨题至少都会有一道，有时有两道。而且如果能够成功的把主旨题解对，那么就相当于把握了文章的主线，抓住了其中心点，对于解决其他题型亦有很大的帮助。这就要求考生在平时备考过程中，除了注重词汇和语法等知识点外，一定要跳出圈外，站在总体的高度上来回顾整篇文章，总结归纳文章主旨，甚至可以细化到归纳各段大意。长期练习一定会有所突破。
