1、个人情况：
2002年在北京理工大学电子工程系信号与信息处理专业获得博士学位。曾到美国匹斯堡大学、卡内基梅隆大学的联合实验室做访问学者。中国电子学会高级会员，IEEE会员，中国宇航学会会员。
2、科研项目情况：
近年承担了国家自然基金、总装预研、总装863、国防重点实验室、航天创新基金、航天CAST基金等纵向项目和来源于国家863、电子信息产业发展基金、国防技改等的横向项目30多项。
3、研究方向：
1) 复杂背景下弱小目标检测、识别与精确跟踪技术;
2) 运动目标的检测、识别与跟踪技术;
3) 图像数据压缩与传输技术;
4) 多模图像匹配与融合技术;
5) 遥感图像处理与识别技术;
6) 计算机视觉技术及应用;

发表学术论文50余篇。

Hong Zhang received the B.S. degree, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Hebei University of Technology, China, Harbin University of Science and Technology, China, and Beijing Institute of Technology, China, in 1988, 1993 and 2002, respectively. She is currently a Professor of the School of Astronautics, Beihang University, Beijing, China.

Achievements
Professor Zhang has been in charge of more than 30 projects, including the National Science Foundation of China, the National 863 projects of China, projects for National defense key laboratory, the astronautic creativity foundation, and so on. She was the co-investigator of the key foundation of National Institute of Health of the US. She has published more than 50 papers on international journals or conferences in the field of image processing, two publications. She has advised more than 30 graduate students since teaching.
Professor Zhang's honors and awards include: 3rd prize of the national technology advance prize, 3rd prize of Beijing technology prize, two times awards of Beihang University technology achievement in the 2nd place. She received five Chinese inventive patents, three utility model patents, two software copyrights, and is applying for four additional patents in related fields.
