1978.3-1982.12 浙江医科大学医学系本科学生，获学士学位。1985.9-1988.7 苏州医学院医学遗传学专业硕士研究生，获硕士学位。长期从事临床遗传学、产前遗传学诊断、辅助生殖、着床前遗传学诊断等工作。1990.9-1991.6 CMB-HKU奖学金获得者，香港大学医学院妇产科系访问学者，从事产前遗传学诊断研究工作。1997.10.-1998.11 澳大利亚Adelaide大学妇产科系访问学者，从事比较基因组杂交着床前胚胎遗传学研究。2002.11- 2003.11，2005.1.-2005.8，2008.10-2009.2 美国MAYO医学中心内分泌研究所和妇产科系访问学者，从事生殖内分泌研究。已在国内外重要杂志上发表论文60余篇，著有医学遗传学、生殖医学等专著4部。负责国家重大研究计划项目课题2项目、国家自然科学基金项目一项,浙江省自然科学重点项目等省部课题3项，获国家科学技术进步二等奖一项(第六),省科技进步一等奖二次(第二,第五),省科技进步二等奖二次(第一,第四)。
